Goalkeepers

Tim Whitehouse; A good shot-stopper Tim was previously with Premier Division side Brodsworth MW.

Lee Appleby; Currently enjoying his second stint with The Colliery after a spell with Brodsworth MW.

Jonjo Griffiths; Local lad Jonjo has been with The Colliery for seven years, originally keeping goal for the under-18s side. A stalwart for the Reserves he has ocassionally been called into action with the first team. Also known to play as a striker in the local Sunday League.

Kai Wheatley; One for The Colliery's future Kai is currently goalkeeper of the club's under 19s side.

Defenders

Jordan Pickering; A hard-working defender who was formerly with Brodsworth MW Jordan has forged himself a permanent spot in the right back position.

Daniel Lodge; Son of goalkeeping coach Steve Danny has recently re-signed for The Colliery after a spell away with Retford Utd.

Andrew Green; Local lad Andrew came back into The Colliery 1st team midway through last season and proved to be a strong and reliable defender. Andrew was formerly part of the club's old under 18s side.

Dean Fraser; Another Rossington lad who, since forcing his way into the 1st team, has shown 100% commitment to the club which has seen him prove hard to displace.

David Holvey; After falling out of favour with the previous Manager, Dave has recently returned to The Colliery to help marshall the defence. 

Nathan Hill; A tall and strong centre half Nathan is a great leader from the back. His previous clubs include Brodsworth MW.

Jon Billups; Strong at Centre half although his height can prove an advantage at either end of the pitch Jon was previously with Swinton Station.

Rob Burton; Formerly of Retford United and a coach at the local Sports College Rob joined The Colliery in December as player-manager alongside fellow Sports College teacher Ian Wilson. An excellent defender Rob's experience will help him to lead from the back.

Chris Burton; Another recent acquisition adn brother of Rob, Chris is a strong defender who joins The Colliery from Premier Division Arnold Town.

Jamie Spencer; Another Rossington youngster Jamies was previously part of the under 19 set-up at Retford United before returning to The Colliery. A very dependable player at the back. 

Midfielders

Carl Hastie; Another village youngster who gained experience with Retford United's under 19s, Carl is a very quick and agile player and has forged a regular place in the 1st team.

Michael MacDonald; After spending last season in and out of the side an impressive pre-season has helped Michael to forge a regular place in the 1st team this campaign. So much so he has been promoted to club captain at the relatively tender age of 21.

Craig Morton; Another player who joined the club from Brodsworth MW Craig is a strong tackling midfielder.

Sean Graves; Another strong tackling midfielder Sean can be relied on to give 100% for the team.

Bradley Billam; Another youngster that has forced his way into the 1st team from the current under 19s set up. Bradley is a talented winger who can only improve with experience.

William McGhie; The Colliery's mosty recent signing William joined the club from Premier Division side Armthorpe Welfare in January. A strong midfielder who is happy playing anywhere across the middle William was previously on the books of Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers before moving on to Retford United last season.

Andrew Culshaw; Previously on the books at Scunthorpe United Andrew enjoyed spells with Conference North Gainsborough Trinity and Unibond side Osset Town before recently returning to his home town club. Still only 19 Andrew should prove a useful addition to The Colliery side.

Forwards

Lee Holmes; Re-signed for the club this season after being released by Retford United 'Holmesy' has proved to be a great acquisition scoring in nearly every game he has played thus far.

Chris Lees; Led the line last season and should be expected to bag a few more goals in this his second season with the club.

Jason Stokes; A new signing and at only sixteen years old a great prospect for the future. Jason will push his fellow strikers for a place in the starting line-up.

Colin Bell; A great squad player Colin has a kanck of getting himself on the scoresheet.
